Hello!
Welcome to the St. Mary's Young Adult Group Page!
We are glad you are here.
Our Mission:
To connect, support, and value the young adult Catholics in our community.
Our ministry seeks to give young adults a home in our parishes, encourage them in their commitment to following Jesus Christ and the teachings of His Church, promote the Sacraments as the quickest means to holiness, and build faith-filled friendships.
(The Diocese of Syracuse currently defines "young adults" as adults between the ages of 18 and 39, married or single.
We adhere to this demographic definition and respectfully ask that you do as well.)
The young adult ministry is currently coordinated by Kateri Lickona and Anna Butler.
You can reach us at the contacts below:
Kateri Lickona, Group Coordinator: #315-741-2389 or [email protected].
Anna Butler, volunteer coordinator: [email protected]

First Friday Young Adult Mass and Fellowship
6:30 PM Marian Chapel at St. Mary's Church On the first Friday of each month, Fr. Ken Kirkman, the parochial vicar of the Cortland faith communities of St. Mary's and St. Anthony's parishes, celebrates a young adult Mass for us. Father Ken is also available for Confession before Mass (arrive early). After Mass, we eat pizza from a local venue, drink sparkling beverages, and enjoy dessert together in the Parish Hall.
