If you are interested in learning more about Jesus Christ, His Church, and the purpose of your life catechetical classes on the Catholic faith will begin June 21st from 9:20 am to 10:40 pm at the Parish Center. This coursework is for those who are Catholic or non-Catholic and counts as adult preparation for those who would like to receive any of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion). Even if you have already received all your sacraments, you are welcome to come and learn more about the Catholic faith. Lewis RURAL SERVICES Needs new or gently used spring foot wear (sneakers) for all ages, sweaters, light weight clothing, towels and sheets. All items should be clean and free from stains and pet hair. Also, there is the continuous need for non-perishable food, such as peanut butter, mac & cheese, pasta, meal preparation, cereals, canned fruits and veggies. The staff and volunteers wish to express their gratitude for your contribution to Rural Service's share of the case and can drive. As always your gifts make a wonderful difference. HELPING HANDS CARING HEARTS Serves a need to young infants and toddlers and the parents. Gently used clean clothing for these young people is needed, and of course formula, baby food, gift grocery cards, and bedding is welcomed. We pick up and deliver. YOUTH GROUP
Our next youth group meeting is Wednesday 6:30pm at the Parish Center. All youth entering into 7th grade up to 12th grade are welcome! WORLD YOUTH DAY is fast approaching! If you want to go, you need to register soon! Contact Mindy or Kim below. YOUNG ADULTS Do you ever feel disconnected from the Church? Find a way to be more connected by joining our Young Adults Group! Anyone from 18-40 years old...married, single, and parents are welcome! We have a Young Adults Mass and Dinner on the second Monday of every month at St. Anthony's 5:30pm Mass. Free dinner will follow in the Church Hall. On First Friday's we have Confession (6 pm) and Mass (6:30 pm) at the Cathedral in Syracuse. Dinner provided at Detroit Small Plates following Mass. Every Third Thursday - Theology on Tap - Speaker and Dinner provided at 7 pm Dinosaur BBQ, Syracuse. St. Mary's Boy Scout Troop 197 meets Tuesday evenings at the Parish Center from 6:30 - 7:30pm and every third Monday at the TC3 pool from 7-8pm. If you love camping, hiking, fishing, orienteering, fun & adventure, as well as learning valuable lifelong skills, we invite boys who are 11-17 years of age to join us.
